Effective October 2026
Huhu Games (Squiggle, Groupies, Whizzy, Mogul, and Huhu Life) is made by Huhu Inc., the same
team behind Huhu Canvas and Early Days. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we don't do
with it. We've tried to write it so a parent can actually read the whole thing.
Who we are
Huhu Inc. makes family apps and family gear. Huhu Games is our free arcade of AI-generated puzzles,
quizzes, and story games. It's built on the same account system as our Early Days baby-tracking app —
if you already have a Huhu account, it works here too.
What we collect
- Playing needs no account at all, in the app or on the web. Games opened in your
browser — including ones opened from a shared link — and the games in the app play without
signing in or giving us anything. In Spy’s one-phone mode nothing leaves your device. In its
everyone’s-own-phone mode, the name you type and a random device id are kept in a temporary room
record on our servers so the other phones can see who joined; the room is deleted automatically within
six hours and is never linked to an account. In Twenty (20 Questions) and Sleuth, the questions you
type are stored with an anonymous game record (no name, no account) — six hours for Twenty, a day
for Sleuth — and are sent to OpenAI only to work out the answer to each question. A mystery you
make in Sleuth is saved with its theme, your first name and your account id so anyone with its link can
play it; you can ask us to delete it, and reported mysteries are hidden.
- Signing in is free and optional (Sign in with Apple or Google): an email address and a
name, which is what powers creating with AI, your credits, and your family's shared balance.
Your first name is shown as the creator on games you make, including in a game's community
Top tab.
This account is shared across Huhu apps (Early Days, Huhu Canvas), so the same login works everywhere.
- Content you type — puzzle themes, quiz topics, display names, and similar prompts.
We store this. If you give a creation a public name, it can appear in a game's community Top
tab, where other players can see and play it.
- A transient IP address, used only to rate-limit abuse (stopping someone from spamming
the create button). We don't keep this long-term or use it to identify you.
- Basic infrastructure and analytics data — we run on Firebase (Google Cloud), which
logs standard things like request counts and crash diagnostics so we can keep the games running and
find bugs.
- Your family's credit balance — how many AI creations you have left — tied to your
account so it survives a reinstall or a new device.
AI processing (Gemini)
When you create a puzzle, quiz, or story world, the text you type (your theme, topic, or idea) is sent
to Google's Gemini API to generate the content — the words, questions, or story
events. Google processes that request under its own API terms. We don't send your email or account
details along with it — just the content needed to generate your creation.
What we don't do
- No ads, anywhere in Huhu Games.
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Deletion
Want your account or content deleted? Email us (below) and we'll take care of it.
Not for children under 13
Huhu Games is not directed to children under 13. Creating an account and generating AI content is for
adults and teens 13 and up. Younger kids are welcome to play — just using a grown-up's
account and supervision, the same way they'd play any family game night together.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your data, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
